The 5th Annual SES Women's Benefit Polo Tournament will be held April 9th at Gardnertown Farms. Join us for a round robin format with fast paced indoor arena action. Each year we bring together women of all ages to play polo, raise money and to bring awareness to our cause. Gardnertown Farms has been our gracious host for the past 5 seasons. Looking forward to a fun day! For directions and more information visit our Facebook page.

Our First Annual Founder's Dinner at Le Cirque in New York City on November 30th 2016 was a great success. We raised more than $200,000 with a matching donation from a private donor. This secures the expansion of our Veterans' Program for 2017. Please click here to see Huffington Post article about the dinner. Senator Bob Kerrey addressed the audience along with our staff therapist Christine Bruckner and Edward Kangas. It was a terrific evening and we are looking forward to our 2017 Gala that is being planned.

Squirrelwood has launched our Equine Assisted Psychotherapy Program! We are currently actively seeking participants for sessions at the sanctuary. Please contact us for more information on this groundbreaking program and the services we provide here. Service men and women and their families are welcome for weekday or weekend sessions that last approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Each session is tailored to the individual or group. We make sure the client is comfortable and that their experience here at the sanctuary is a positive and healing one.
